Friendly Fire

What readers are saying

““I’m proud of you!” ”

— - Troy C. Moore

““My God! After reading “Friendly Fire” through tears and a better understanding of “church hurt”, I can’t help but to think back to well over 14 plus years ago. I know that God’s timing is perfect and had I had this tool back then it would have made the process of healing from friendly fire a lot smoother. The interesting thing is that it does not just apply to hurt experienced in church, but I believe it also resonates with those hurts that have been experienced in the marketplace as well. This was well worth the wait and worth experiencing through reading. Well done Alesia Moore! The world will forever be changed\transformed because of your obedience to God! Thank you!” ”

— - Angela D. Berger

““WOW! It’s the first word that comes to mind after reading this book! It is in its powerful simplicity that I was able to see areas of my life where the Refiner’s fire is still at work. It gave me clarity. This is definitely not a one-time read but a powerful tool to utilize in my growth continually, not just as a leader, but as a person”. ”

— - Liza Ramirez

““After the first read, I really liked it!!! My favorite chapters were “Moving Things Forward”, “The Pedestal of Silence” &” The Leader's Warning”. This book can be used to help people heal from more than just Church Hurt. It can be applied to life!! My momma is an author.””

— - Lindell G. Douglas II

““The whole friendly fire idea really stood out, how the people closest to you can hurt you the most, and that part felt very real. What stuck with me most was the shifting from seeing someone like a "superhero" to realizing they’re just human. That’s tough, especially when you’ve built a lot around them, but the part about idols falling makes sense. It's painful, but it kind of forces you to refocus on what actually matters. I also like that it didn’t ignore the hurt. The part about soul wounds and the walls people build after getting hurt really made me think. And probably the biggest thing I took from it was separating God from people, not letting someone’s failure shake your whole faith ”
