Long ago a race of beings called the Annunaki, who were from another planet called Nibiru, came to Earth to mine for gold. The gold was needed to repair the atmosphere of their planet's radiation shield. Fed up with the labor involved with mining, they created a being on Earth by manipulating the genes of an existing ape-man and joining it with their genes to create humans. The humans labored in the mines and began to worship the Annunaki as gods because of their advanced technology. The orbit of Nibiru caused a great flood on the Earth and wiped out everything. But a handful of humans survived the onslaught. The Annunaki survived in their spaceships. They rebuilt the cities and eventually handed over Kingship to the Humans after several wars. Finally, they departed Earth and left the humans on their own. But not without leaving them a gift.
