Many Christians are struggling today. There is a smorgasbord of different beliefs; and the empty church buildings, fractured families, and broken lives are the results. The Bible says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge . . ..” (Hosea 4:6)
The Devil has done a masterful job of diverting our attention from the authority of God’s Word and diluting its impact on our families by weakening its message through other bible versions. He has been effectively watering it down to the point that the very message has been altered.
The time has come for people to rediscover a Book that sounds like the voice of their Shepherd. People need to rediscover a Book that is written on a fifth-grade level and, yet, is poetic and majestic in its profound simplicity. We need love letters from the heart of God. We need a GPS that is calibrated to our generation. We need a lamp that faithfully illuminates our path. We need a powerful laser that will point out our sins and renew our confused minds. Where is such a BOOK? We’ve had it for over 400 years, but it has lain hidden among the rubble of life. It is time to rediscover this heavenly treasure, the King James Bible.
Sheila Rae Boyd is my pen name for many of my books; however, Sheila Rae Morgan is the name I go by.
I not only write books of my own, but I also edit, lay out books for publication, and design covers for other authors. I have previously written and revised Christian school curricula; authored the Nova Scotia Series of historical, Christian fiction; ghost written Things That Are Different Are Not the Same and Timeless Echoes; co-authored Rediscovering the King James Bible; and authored the true story, Not My Shame, as well as others. I hold a doctorate degree in education and taught in Christian schools for several years. She had a desire that each of her own children learn to write well, so she resigned teaching in a school setting, where there was little emphasis on writing, to homeschool her children, where she placed an emphasis on writing. Two of her children are now published authors. An avid hunter and fisherman, Sheila resides with her husband, Steve, in Lakeland, Florida. Nova Scotia Series, Book Two
In the second installation of The Nova Scotia Series, the hunter and the hunted are thrown together in an unexpected way, each one relying on the other, not only for survival on an arduous journey from Savannah, Georgia, back to Nova Scotia; but, underneath the surface, they are also relying on each other to find their own answers to what life has dealt them.
Nova Scotia Series, Book Three
Isabelle has returned to 1700s Nova Scotia to face the issues from which she ran in the first place. However, will her decision to return bring her the freedom to move on in her life, as she had hoped, or will her decision become the very shackles she sought to throw off?
