Laser Eyes

When people add laser eyes to their profile pictures, they want to express their support for Bitcoin. Aaron has been active in the Bitcoin movement since 2011. He has written several books about Bitcoin and produced more than one hundred short commercial films for Bitcoin and crypto start-ups. He has also been a speaker and moderator at many conferences.
Some of the songs on this album were previously released and performed at Bitcoin conferences and other events around the world. Half of the tracks, however, are brand new — written and recorded exclusively for this project. Aaron’s music spans a wide range of genres, from funk, soul, ska, blues and afrobeat to reggaeton and cheesy pizzeria muzak.
Bitcoin is still a relatively new topic for most people, that’s why the songbook also tells you many things you need to know about the stateless, decentralized currency. Why is Bitcoin needed? How does it work? How can we use it in everyday life?
Aaron explains all this in an engaging, easily understandable way. He also shares some of his own Bitcoin experiences — such as spending 5 ½ Bitcoins on a beer and a burger (now more than 400,000 US dollars) at Berlin’s legendary Room 77, the first physical location in the world to accept Bitcoin.

Blow My Mind! contains songs about Buddhism and physics alongside tracks about familiar pop themes such as love, sex, and relationships. Aaron's songs are about spiritual and other meaningful topics, but they don't sound very spiritual – no mantras or chants! Instead, this album features a wild mix of different genres: funk, soul, ska, punk rock, Balkan pop and even electronic music.
All these songs have not been released before. They will be released one title per month on music platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music or Amazon, but this will take a while.
