Fender Electric Instruments
by American Heritage Literary Institute
There are lots of well-written books about Fender musical instruments and the talented authors provide all sorts of statistics, specifications, and technical aspects of the guitars. This is not one of those. It is not meant to replace any of them. This book is about people. Clarence Leonidas Fender . . . a man with foresight, developmental skills, and the crew he assembled in a small Fullerton California workshop. Together, they developed specialized electric guitars and bass guitars, along with excellent amplifiers that gave musicians the tools they needed to work in an ever-expanding world of music. Rock, country, Western Swing and Surf music were all played on the electric instruments made by Leo Fender and his crew. Together, they changed the musical instrument industry . . . And the world listened!
What readers are saying
“This book was written by an author who is not only a recording and performing guitarist, but a person who interacted with some of the early years at Fender Electric Musical Instruments Company. The book contains some stories that could only be told by people who were actually there, at the time. It held my interest and revealed lots of things about Fender's history that I never knew. It is a really good read!”

United We Heal - The Story of Dr. James D. "Don" Bridges
A True American Hero - The Man They Called "Batman"
This truly is a book about a real live U.S. Navy hero that was so amazing in his unusual deeds, that his shipmates nicknamed him, “BATMAN!” His outstanding achievements and diverse abilities allowed him to be a number of types of hero, saving many people, in all sorts of situations, both military, medical, and in general. His life and story are nothing short of amazing!
Writing about a man as extraordinary as Jim Bridges feels like trying to capture sunlight in a jar. He illuminated every room with his wit, warmed lives with his compassion, and inspired loyalty wherever he went. Over thirty years, friends, family, and crew watched him balance the rigors of naval duty with the demands of medical innovation—and never once failed to honor the family he loved, or drop the standards he set for himself or those he led.
The James D. Bridges story is more than a chronicle of medals and publications. It’s a testament to the power of service, friendship, and unwavering integrity. As his friend and fellow Navy service member, I hope these pages honor the depth of his sacrifice and the breadth of his achievements, so that readers everywhere can glimpse the man who gave so much, asked for so little, and left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
The Abduction of Nancy Guthrie
100 + Days Gone!
Blending analytical reasoning with real-world investigative patterns, Dr. Hammer reconstructs a plausible scenario based on known facts, behavioral evidence, and criminal methodology. The work goes beyond traditional true crime storytelling by applying structured probability analysis and forensic logic to uncover what may have happened.
At the center of the investigation is a troubling set of circumstances: no signs of forced entry, delayed ransom communications, and a sudden disappearance that left investigators with more questions than answers. Dr. Hammer’s analysis explores the likelihood of a targeted abduction, the possibility of amateur perpetrators, and the implications of medical complications that may have influenced the outcome.
Her high-tech pacemaker, with telemetry finally decoded. The Sheriff’s continuing troubles with lawsuits and a conflict with the FBI. An absent search helicopter pilot. Missteps in the investigation – did they prevent evidence from being found? Where is Nancy Guthrie and who are the offenders that perpetrated this horrific crime?
“This book represents a disciplined effort to move beyond speculation,” said Dr. Hammer. “
Key elements explored in the book include:
• A detailed reconstruction of the disappearance timeline
• Behavioral and logistical analysis of a potential abduction
• Examination of ransom demands, including cryptocurrency involvement
• Assessment of competing hypotheses and alternative explanations
• Identification of critical evidence needed to confirm or refute conclusions
The Abduction of Nancy Guthrie: 100 + Days GONE! . . . is expected to resonate with readers of true crime, investigative journalism, and forensic analysis. Its methodical approach distinguishes it from conventional narratives, offering readers a deeper understanding of how complex cases are analyzed and interpreted.
