What happens when the life that once held you no longer does?
Unseen & Rising explores the strange, often frightening space where purpose fades, energy disappears and the identity you once relied upon begins to dissolve.
This is not a book about fixing yourself.
It is about recognising what may be happening when there is nothing left to push towards—and discovering why sometimes, there is nothing to do but go in.
There are times in a woman’s life when the things that once gave her direction simply stop working.
Purpose disappears. Energy retreats. Motivation becomes difficult to summon. Roles that once made sense begin to feel strangely empty. And beneath it all comes a disturbing question: If I am no longer who I was, then who am I?
From the outside, this can look like withdrawal, stagnation or even failure.
From the inside, it can feel as though you are disappearing.
But what if something else is happening?
Unseen & Rising explores the territory between an identity that has exhausted itself and a self that has not yet fully emerged. It is a journey into the quieter, less visible processes of change—the periods when pushing harder does not help, familiar answers no longer fit, and the instinct to “get back to normal” may actually pull us away from what is trying to unfold.
This is not a prescription for becoming more productive, positive or purposeful.
It is an invitation to become curious about the disappearance itself.
To notice what has gone quiet.
To recognise what can no longer be sustained.
And to discover what remains when the roles, expectations and identities we have carried begin to fall away.
Because sometimes transformation does not begin with rising.
Sometimes it begins unseen.
And sometimes, before we can move forward, there is nothing to do but go in.
