Authors - Biggibilla Aka Graham J Rennie, Ooboon Aka Dianne M Rennie Preserving Cultural Heritage of the Yuwaalaraay People and Preserving an ancient Martial Art from the Zhou Dynasty c. 1046 - 256 BC.
My totemic name in Yuwaalaraay language is Biggibilla which means an Echidna and my wife's totemic name is Ooboon. When my wife and I married she was given a kinship moiety skin name, Ooboon Gumbatha. These names are related to Yuwaalaraay First Nations language group from n.w. New South Wales, Australia. My wife and I are the Principals of Azure Dragon Martial Arts (青龍武術): Ooboon (師長) Shichō and Biggibilla (師範長) Shihan-chō. We are also preserving the cultural heritage of Gumbubudhuu (Yuwaalaraay Martial Arts). I am a First nations/Aboriginal artist and along with my wife we are preserving the knowledge of an ancient culture and an ancient Martial Art.
