The Spectrum Saga - Harbinger of Light

1. The tale of the Spectrum Saga began with a real-world dilemma; a world rife with demeaning propaganda and Mass-Hysteria — a paradigm of comic book villains and the battle between civilisation and barbarism! An overwhelming mirage of perverse good versus incomprehensible evil for a puerile youth to comprehend the hows and the whys, the underlying division and scorn that besmears and scars your identity. The Spectrum Saga’s simple notion of promoting Islam positively manifested something deeper and far more profound: the intricate web and layers of deception, intrigue, espionage, and the hijacking of verity and the corruption of narrative.

2. The Saga seeks to educate, inspire, and instigate Muslim youth to contemplate and view with introspection, the very ambivalent and confounding state of affairs they see daily in the news media, on their social media accounts and from community perceptions and propagations, moreover, to ingratiate insight to youths of all walks of life to refrain from corrupted hysteria, and correct their frame of reference.

3. The story harkens the reader to important issues of jurisprudence, politics, faith, ethics and morality; shaped and moulded on the fictional themes of a “Superhero!” Serious in its objectives and reflective of the current ethos of our time, this story is a journey encompassing the lessons, tribulations, discoveries, and challenges experienced by a protagonist endowed with a providentially guided ability to resonate with earthly and universal forces of light and energy. This catalyst triggers a heroic stage, in which he must face the dark tides of corruption, criminality, war, and the intrigues and machinations of secret societies and powerful entities, creating chaos and turmoil across the lands of Levantium and beyond.

Story Synopsis;

4. Idrīis Tḥāʿlab Sḥāmcēʿelddīn lives in Ṭarāpolis, in the Republic of Sḥāmnūoon, a place of great history, albeit with great upheaval in recent years. As a Gendarme (Investigator/Detective), Idrīis has developed his views through his experiences but remains hopeful and curious. An introspective character, contemplating and considerate of the world around him with a strong sense of justice, and a desire to enact virtuous deeds. Idrīis experiences challenges in his role, tackling a Syndicate of criminals responsible for distributing a dangerous drug. He ventures on a hiking expedition through the Levantium Alps, where he encounters a supernatural experience and the effects of a spatial anomaly. Edified by a mysterious presence, the anomaly bestowed him with elevated powers that unfold through his travels, to his bemusement, reservation and awe.

5. Idrīis progressively attunes to these fundamental forces, receptive and able to interact with abeyant energies; temporal powers such as the Electromagnetic Spectrum and Earth’s Magnetic Field. These mysteriously anointed powers are the catalyst that drives his journey, and instigates a mission into the heart of conflict to untangle the shrouded conspiracies plaguing Levantium and Greater Arābiya Orientālis.

6. Synchronously, a confluence of characters and events, the subterfuge and machinations of a powerful fraternity and their impacts on world politics and surreptitious espionage, sets the scene of an odyssey Idrīis embarks upon, with his newfound communion with Earth’s terrestrial powers.
