Carolyn Cantrell Snowden, a.k.a "c.c.Snowden" is a native of Jacksonville, FL. She discovered poetry in the fifth grade and has been writing it ever since. Some of her poetry has been turned into children's books. This book is about why we all love dogs so much. c.c. Snowden has always been a BIG dog lover and advocate for adoptable dogs.

These are some of my favorite poems that I have written. Most are inspirational or spiritual, some are just for fun - all are positive and uplifting. The illustrations are from a Victorian era collection of "trade cards" that were collected by my great-great grandmother, Hallie Clarkson, for whom my youngest daughter was named.
