Dr. D. Roy Bramwell is a servant-leader, author, and broadcaster whose mission is to equip believers, restore families, and point hearts back to God’s covenant purpose.
Dr. D. Roy Bramwell was born in Jamaica, West Indies, to devoted Christian parents, Elder Calvin Bramwell and Minister Janet Bramwell. From a young age, the values of faith, discipline, and service were instilled deeply within him. At just thirteen years old, Dr. Bramwell made the lifechanging decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. It was a moment that became the cornerstone of his spiritual journey and lifelong ministry. A proud graduate of Calabar High School in Kingston, Jamaica, Dr. Bramwell migrated to the United States in 1994 to pursue higher education in music. He honed his skills at the Harlem School of the Arts, studying Basic Piano I and II and Sight Reading. His exceptional gift in music led him to serve in numerous congregations as Minister of Music and Arts and Choir Director across New York, Connecticut, and Florida. His tenure at churches such as Victory Tabernacle Church in Harlem, Gateway Church and Metropolitan Baptist Church in Florida reflects his unwavering dedication to worship leadership and community building. Dr. Bramwell’s ministry expands beyond the church walls. In 2011, he discovered a new passion—broadcasting—which quickly became an extension of his calling. In 2015, he founded GL365 Radio, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) station under GL365 Media Inc., committed to glorifying God through uplifting gospel music and meaningful conversations. His platform reaches listeners around the world, promoting messages of hope, restoration, and faith. In 2022, Dr. Bramwell was honored with the Doctor of Sacred Music (Honoris Causa) from Emet Global Theological Seminary and College. That same year, he received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing over three decades of dedicated volunteer service and his extraordinary contributions to faith and nation-building. Having personally endured seasons of brokenness, including two failed marriages, Dr. Bramwell experienced firsthand the challenges of family separation and renewal. Through deep reflection, prayer, and divine guidance, he embraced a profound transformation by reigniting his purpose to help others strengthen their marriages, restore broken relationships, and protect God’s covenant of family. Today, Dr. Bramwell resides in the Houston, Texas area with his beloved wife, Broushel, and their sons, Zach and Tyler. His life is a testimony of resilience, and redemption. Rooted in faith, family, music, and media, Dr. D. Roy Bramwell currently volunteer at Parkway Fellowship as a musician. Dr. Bramwell impact lives globally, inspiring others to stand firm in faith, pursue God’s purpose, and live a life that glorifies Him.
