The Unlikely Path to a Rewarding Life
by Jim Rudenberg
This little book may change your life!
What is the solution to a world where conflicts, strained relationships, self-absorption, and hopelessness are so common? The answer just might be humility! The HUMBLE U Handbook holds tools that can help you clear a path to an enduring peace with God, with yourself, and with others.
It’s one thing to know something about humility and another thing to BE humble. That’s where the practical part of this book comes in. If you are truly humble, you will naturally practice humility -- it will flow through you.
Welcome to HUMBLE U!
Jim's new book condenses a decade of learning about humility into about 120 pages. Not a long read, but it will challenge you. And yes, there are questions in there that you'll need to answer. As you read and reflect , you will discover an unlikely path to a rewarding life.
From the book:
“When humility is in operation, everyone benefits. When you are humble, God can and will work through you more effectively.”
(page 12)
“When you get a hold of humility, or more precisely, when humility gets a hold of you, that’s when you will experience substantial and lasting personal growth.” (page 25)
"Some people seem more valuable than others. But that is not at all the case in God's value system. To God, we are all equally valuable. We are His workmanship made in His image. When we grasp this truth we will see ourselves and our neighbor in a whole different light." (page 48)
“I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly.” — Jesus
