The Invisible City
by K.A. Griffin
The last thing Ethan Scott wanted was to step back into the spotlight. Leaving New Marchant by order of Chancellor Brighton to attend a mysterious new school was bad enough, but when word of his fame spreads, he finds himself with more enemies than he ever imagined.
Arcborne…the school and city that doesn’t appear on any map. Surrounded by mountains, it thrives in isolation, with no apparent contact with the outside world. Yet, even in this remote place, the eye of the Chancellor is keenly focused upon Ethan’s every move. One step in the wrong direction, and he becomes an enemy to the most powerful man in the world.
As fourteen-year-old Ethan searches for a way out, he discovers there is far more to the school and city than meets the eye. Here, the hopes and dreams of the young are harnessed as political tools by those in power. Knowledge can be a powerful thing, but it can also prove to be deadly.
Hundreds of miles away, Ethan’s family and friends devise a rescue mission to bring him back, but will they survive long enough to even find him?
The Invisible City continues the adventure of Ethan Scott that began in The Accidental World.

The Accidental World
K.A. Griffin has been storytelling since he was 18. Before his current effort, The Accidental World series, he wrote short stories and three other novels that are likely to remain unpublished. Two of the three he refers to as “practice novels,” and the third was a political thriller that tells of a man who brought down a government superpower in 60 days. Not yet willing to become an enemy of the state, he keeps that manuscript sequestered away in a safe location.
His corporate leadership background provides him with characters and plots that are based on firsthand knowledge and experience. K.A. Griffin believes that business is little more than legalized warfare, where the casualties are investment capital and job loss for the losing side. Twisted and dark, he asserts the corporate world makes for great content in any genre.
Currently, he lives in Texas with his wife, newly adopted son, two rescue dogs, and a rescue cat who is the bane of his existence.
