As a woman who grew up in Gloucester, it really felt close to my heart. I lived just down the hill from Cherry Street and Dogtown, which was my stomping grounds. My grandparents name was Allen and I recognized many of the names of the other characters. I have read several books about Dogtown and this was by far my favorite! I'm hoping Melissa will write another novel.”
