Nina

by Michael C Kelly

This is a novel for those who look beyond wars. It is the story of a mother's homegrown quest for peace set in the early days of the Ukraine/Russian War.

About The Book

Nina is a Russian mother who, early in the Ukraine-Russia War, takes up an offer from a Ukrainian commander to fetch her recently captured son.

Imagine the struggles a Russian mother would endure traveling alone through war-torn Ukraine to rescue her son from a fight that no one wants. And while Nina’s journey is arduous, it asks a fundamental question. Where do we find peace on our planet?

““NINA is a special book for the times in which we are living. I recommend it!” ”

““This was a truly heartwarming story of the lengths a mother would go to for the love of her child. It was interesting to have this take place in an area that was relevant in the news recently. It made you really appreciate that we live where we do. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick read that leaves the reader satisfied. Thank you!! Loved it!” ”
