The Sycamore Centennial Parade

(Part I)

In the spring of 1978, and Poodle and his best friend, the Milkman, couldn’t have been happier about being laid-off, if they had planned it themselves. But before either man could beer burp the alphabet, they were scooped up and put to work by Poodle’s wife, doing cold call sales.
Sales? That’s serious work. But when did serious work ever corral a keen sense of distraction? Comedy and mayhem quickly ensue.
But not all is fun and games. Foul intent lurks in the shadows of the city. There are those seeking ill-gotten gain while hiding behind the veil of distraction called The Sycamore Centennial Parade.
