Natalie Sol Gallagher wrote her first book in the 4th grade (A Tree of Oranges Grows in the City) when she should have been doing math worksheets. Fortunately, she had one of those rare teachers who encouraged her creativity, which inspired a life-long love of reading. Since then, she's earned undergraduate degrees in English Literature and History from Eastern New Mexico University and a graduate degree in Education from the University of St. Thomas. After a career teaching creative writing, narrative design, and composition at the university level, she spent a decade as a public speaking coach and speech writer before getting back to the business of writing books. This is her debut novel.
