No Excuses! The power of self-discipline by Brian Tracy is a wonderful guide on how to strengthen your self-discipline, and how it can benefit many aspects of your life, such as finances, career, health and relationships.

The original is over three hundred pages long, and the author uses verbosity to reinforce some of the principles. If you want practical advice without the tedium of subliminal reinforcement, these cliff notes neatly summarize the key points to get your life on track.

People have a nasty habit of dying when he’s around. More often than not, women — though they certainly don’t hold a monopoly on pissing him off.

But trouble is looming, and it’s his own stupid fault. He got careless. Now there’s a nasty chunk of skin that should still be on his ass, under her fingernails — a major inconvenience, and pretty damn sore, too.

Steven is not an irresponsible boy, and is in fact vehemently opposed to poking bears, sleeping or otherwise. In his defence, how was he to know it was a voodoo doll, he thought it was just a very awesome action figure. With a pink pin in its chest. And the name Kyle Moorehouse wedged into his back.

Curiously though, Kyle Moorehouse was the previous owner of this house, and, even more curiously, was also the person found dead on the kitchen floor.

Coincidence? Or murder?
