As a parent, retired Army veteran, and Licensed Clinical Social Worker–Provisional, I’ve worn many hats—leader, mentor, therapist—but my most transformative role is that of a parent. I understand the beauty and challenges of raising children, especially while healing from our own experiences. In both my personal and professional life, I’ve seen how childhood trauma, attachment, and family patterns shape how we show up for the next generation. I created *Parenting at a Glance* as a heartfelt, digestible, and empowering resource for caregivers who want to parent with intention, not perfection. This guide is practical, reflection-driven, and written for busy parents who care deeply.
