I started out professionally as a garden designer. Then when the urge to explore the world grabbed hold of me, I switched to teaching homeowners how to design their gardens using the simple system I'd developed. I wrote numerous books and courses as I adventured my way around the warmer parts of Europe and beyond. Then, like many, my life changed dramatically with the events of March 2020. For me, life took on a completely unexpected turn, something I could never have seen coming or planned for in a million years, which I write about in Misadventures of an Accidental Activist.
