I didn't stumble into the bread route business I built my way into it, one delivery at a time. For over 15 years I have been in the field as a route owner and operator, running the routes, managing the relationships, solving the problems, and learning what it truly takes to build a sustainable income in this industry.
What I know, I know from experience not from a classroom or a YouTube rabbit hole. I have sat across the table from sellers who were less than honest. I have navigated the early mornings, the vehicle breakdowns, the slow seasons, and the moments when this business tested everything I had. I have also experienced the financial freedom, the pride of ownership, and the quiet satisfaction of building something real with my own hands.
After 15 years of living this life, I reached a point where keeping this knowledge to myself stopped making sense.
Too many people are buying routes blind paying too much, skipping the right questions, and walking into situations they were never prepared for. Too many others are leaving money on the table because nobody ever showed them how to optimize, scale, or protect what they built. I wrote the R.B.L. series because I wanted to change that.
This work is my legacy. It is also my way of giving back to an industry that gave me independence, financial stability, and a business I am genuinely proud of. If even one reader avoids a costly mistake or builds something stronger because of what I share, that matters to me more than I can put into words.
