Or one can take time to count the elements presented in the story to reinforce counting. Making this a fun story to sit and read to children!

I found a love for writing while attending college, but it was those early years that developed a passion for storytelling! I was a first or second grader sitting on the back steps with a handful of pills to take my life. God had sent me a friend to encourage and lead me to know Jesus Christ! Now at sixty years old, through my writing, I try to be that friend to children. I desire to encourage and strengthen their resolve to follow Jesus and experience the joy and peace I have found through my faith. I want to remind them they are fearfully and wonderfully made! We all have a purpose in being born on this earth!
