JOHN STEEL VOLUME THREE BLACK & WHITE EDITION
FIVE COMPLETE GRAPHIC NOVELS FROM U.K. SUPER DETECTIVE PICTURE LIBRARY RETRO COMIC REPRINTS #847
John Steel was an agent with British Military Intelligence during World War Two. He
was originally a police officer in London until 1939 when the war began and the fire
of patriotism inside him turned into an unquenchable inferno. Aside from his
strength and intellect, Steel also spoke French and German fluently, much needed
skills at that time.
Steel would have many harrowing adventures during those War years, taking him all
across the globe. Steel’s mission often sent him alone behind enemy lines to infiltrate
and ultimately destroy whatever nefarious schemes the Nazis were planning. While
successful in dispatching members of the Third Reich, he would often barely escape
death in his quest to preserve king and country.
