DEATH VALLEY (1953-1955) brought us the colorful and exciting stories of days gone by. The
first six issues were published by Comic Media, and contain the harder, grittier stories. The last
three issues, published by Charlton, gave us a lighter look at the west.
Death Valley was home to a number of great artists who would go on to prominence in
the Silver Age and beyond including Ross Andru, Mike Esposito, Don Heck and Pete
Morisi.
