Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen next the author went in a different and much better direction. The characters build on each other and grow throughout the story all the way to the end. I will also warn you that you might not be able to put this book down. The one problem I did have is that I got up to get a snack and when I came back my wife had picked it up and wouldn't give it back until she was done! I guess I'll have to buy two copies of Rita's next book. So the bottom line is I highly recommend you get a copy of this.”

This story is believable because the occupations and the relationships are those you might encounter every day, or in your own life. Rita's characters act as we might act, and think as we might think so they're eminently relatable. The dialog is fast-paced and clear, and the author's descriptions put you there, in the scene, in their heads. Not only that, the manuscript was obviously proofread perfectly which is not always the case with self-published works. I'm delighted that this is part of a saga and there's more to come from this fine writer.”

Ms. Reali has a wonderful way with dialogue and story-telling. The characters are quirky, just like most people are (well, maybe a couple are quirkier than most....), interesting and likeable - and believable! I felt like I was right there, listening to them, seeing what they saw, feeling what they felt. The plot has twists and turns as the romance blossoms, threatens to wilt, and then is resuscitated.... Confession - besides being an avid - even voracious - reader of many genres, I'm also a writer, and I know I can be critical when a book suffers from a poorly constructed plot, shoddy story-telling, stilted, un-natural dialogue, bad grammar, and other faults.... This book suffers from none of those - it was a delight to read - in fact, I literally could not put it down! Thanks, Rita! I look forward to reading more from this talented writer!”

Without giving away any plot points, I can tell you that, after reading one particular chapter, I so related to what one of the main characters, Marc, had gone through, that I had to stop and catch my breath and wipe away some tears. In all my years of reading, I've only had that experience one other time while reading a book (Stephen King's "The Green Mile."). A thoroughly satisfying story that I didn't want to end.
