Episode 4: Makayla's man

Makayla, a server at an upscale restaurant, happened to wait on Simon and his fiancé, Helen one evening. Her boyfriend, Frank, is about to do something; out of desperation, that will ruin their lives together. An honest and law abiding citizen, Frank has fallen in with a gang of thieves, who are planning to rob a bank. When Makayla learns this, she is very troubled. The stress from this knowledge, causes her to drift elsewhere, while serving Simon and Helen.
Helen sees that Makayla is going through a rough time and befriends her. Soon, Makayla calls Helen to ask for advice. After hearing the situation, Helen automatically volunteers Simon, to assist the young girl.
Simon convinces Frank to help the FBI capture the thieves in the act, and save himself from going to prison for 20 years.

I have been writing since 1972. I began as a song writer and, after 40 years in the music business, I decided to write novels. My first book is entitled "Stories from the road" (the Broadway band experience). I have since written a series of books called Simon Blaise PI, along with several other books. "Ghosts" - "Audrey Rose" and "Shopping etiquette 101."
