Chris Whittemore is a medically retired U.S. Marine Corps veteran, forensic psychology graduate, and Transition Readiness Counselor who now dedicates his life to advocating for wounded servicemembers while writing stories rooted in resilience, sacrifice, and psychological depth.

Chris Whittemore served sixteen years in the Marine Corps, deploying twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and once in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He holds a master’s degree in forensic psychology and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. After sustaining multiple traumatic brain injuries, he was medically retired in July of 2015. He is now living in San Antonio, Texas, with his wife of 24 years. Now serving as a Transition Readiness counselor, assisting servicemembers going through the Medical Board evaluation process, and assisting others through the VA claims process, he has found his passion and his love for helping those around him to ensure they are getting treated fairly and are prepared for what is next.
