Hello, and thank you for visiting ImmuniForce! I’m Thomas Silvera, and I’m excited to share this journey with you. ImmuniForce was created to educate, empower, and protect those impacted by asthma and allergies. Inspired by real-life experiences and a deep passion for advocacy, this platform brings together engaging storytelling and essential resources to help individuals and families navigate the world of allergies in a fun, accessible, and informative way.
I’m Thomas Silvera, a proud NYC Bronx native, father, researcher, storyteller, and actor, driven by a powerful purpose to create a safer world for children living with severe allergies and asthma.
As co-founder of the Elijah-Alavi Foundation, I have dedicated my life to ensuring that children with severe allergies and asthma receive the protection and care they deserve. Through education, policy reform, and awareness, I’ve helped pass Elijah’s Law in multiple states, strengthening safety measures in childcare and educational settings nationwide.
My work extends beyond my foundation. I actively collaborate with organizations, government agencies, and industry leaders to push for change in healthcare, policy, and education. As a multistakeholder patient advisor, I contribute to projects with pharmaceutical companies, nonprofits, and research groups, ensuring that real-world patient experiences shape better policies and treatments.
Beyond my work in advocacy and research, I channel my creativity into acting and storytelling. I have worked on commercials, public service announcements, and film projects, using media to bring awareness to important issues. My passion for storytelling also led me to create ImmuniForce, a bold and imaginative world where kids with severe allergies and asthma become the heroes of their own story. I am currently writing several more editions of ImmuniForce, expanding the universe and its mission, along with additional children’s books outside of ImmuniForce that inspire, educate, and empower young readers.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Public Health and am completing my Doctorate in Health Science (DHSc), using both research and storytelling to drive real change in the way we understand and manage severe allergies and asthma.
