Hi, I’m Uncle Bobby Rusch a Saskatchewan Cowboy Poet
Howdy, my name is Bob Ruschiensky but for my cowboy poetry. I go by the name Uncle Bobby Rusch. I've always been fascinated by the Cowboy way of life. Right from a young age, I've always been interested in horses and cattle and life on a ranch, even though I never lived on a farm or a ranch, I grew up in a small town in southern Saskatchewan. The town is Minton, Saskatchewan which is near the Big Muddy Badlands, and because of my relatives and friends I had lots of oportunities to visit farms and ranches and help with some of the chores. Later in life I gained an interest in Cowboy Poetry and started writing a few poems. That interest turned into a passion that I now enjoy very much. I hope that you will take the time to enjoy some of my Cowboy Poetry and please share that interest with your friends and relatives. I am anxious to help younger folks get involved in writing and reciting Cowboy Poetry, so that this long-standing tradition doesn't get lost over time.
