Gratitude is an important virtue that we easily neglect. A gratitude attitude has wonderful benefits. It improves our well-being, makes us more optimistic, and helps attract positivity. Being thankful makes us happier, it makes us more optimistic despite our struggles.

About the Author
Venus Perez was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. After years as a bookkeeper, she shifted into medical patient care, always driven by a deep desire to help others. She experienced the heartbreaking loss of her daughter Gemma in 2017, a moment that reshaped her life but also strengthened her resolve. Venus later spent 13 years in Florida, where she founded Easy Access Resource, a nonprofit created to guide people through the social service system. During that time, she also became an author, publishing *I’m Still Here 2nd* and *Miracles Still Happen*. Challenges to her health followed, yet her determination never wavered. In 2020, she moved to Ohio seeking a fresh start. Immersed in the world of motivation and manifestation, she gathered research, reflected on her own journey, and returned to writing in 2025. Her work now aims to inspire and uplift those walking through difficult times. When she isn’t writing, Venus enjoys reading, singing, crocheting, stained glass, and spending quiet days surrounded by loved ones.
