Charlie and Claire Christian were salt of the earth and faithful Christians. They and their five sons and daughters lived on a ranch in the Flint Hills region of Kansas. Then, a rapid succession of painful tragedies and trials stuck their family. Their faith was challenged, driving both of them to the edge of despair. But is was only to the edge, and not over. God revealed himself to them in a way that drew them into a more intimate relationship with himself.
