Forbidden Alien
by B. A. Star
She was never meant to survive the bond.
Now she may be the only one who can save them all.
After awakening powers older than any civilization, Lila is no longer just human… and no longer safe. The ancient Nodes across Earth are stirring, responding to her blood, her touch, and the dangerous frequency growing inside her. Every pulse brings her closer to the truth—and closer to becoming a weapon others will kill to control.
Kaelar crossed galaxies to claim his mate, but the bond between them has become something far greater than either of them understands. As enemies gather in the shadows and the ruthless Commander Tharos closes in, Kaelar must choose between the laws of his people… or the woman fate bound to his soul.
Because something ancient is waking beneath the stars.
Something that knows Lila’s name.
With Earth caught between alien warships, buried Progenitor secrets, and a force capable of remaking worlds, Lila and Kaelar must stand together—or lose everything they love.
Passion burns hotter. Betrayal cuts deeper. And the bond that saved them may become the spark that ends them.
Perfect for readers who love fated mates, possessive alien heroes, slow-burn romance, ancient mysteries, high-stakes sci-fi adventure, and couples who would burn the universe for each other.
What readers are saying
“Reviewed in the United States on May 13, 2026 Format: Kindle I picked up Forbidden Alien: Bound for the Stars because I was in the mood for something different, and the mix of sci-fi, romance, and adventure sounded really interesting. I’m glad I gave it a chance because it turned out to be a fun and engaging read. I liked the world-building and the futuristic setting. It pulled me into the story pretty quickly without feeling overwhelming or too complicated. The alien aspect added a lot of intrigue, and I enjoyed learning more about the characters and their world as the story unfolded. The chemistry between the characters kept me invested, and I liked that there was both emotional tension and action mixed into the storyline. The pacing worked well for me, and there was always something happening that kept me wanting to read another chapter. I also appreciated that the story balanced romance and adventure instead of leaning too heavily into just one side. It made the book feel more complete and entertaining overall. Overall, I really enjoyed Forbidden Alien: Bound for the Stars. It’s a fun sci-fi romance with engaging characters, an interesting setting, and enough emotion and suspense to keep things interesting. If you enjoy alien romance stories with adventure and heart, this one is definitely worth checking out. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.”

“Book 3 takes place on the planet where it all started. The bond between the two lovers now husband and wife is being threatened from all sides. Forces trying to break them apart and prove she is unfit to be a carrier for their world. So many events take place trying to accomplish this you won't want to miss. Every time I open one of her books I can't put it down till it's done. Follow this third journey trying to join all the different worlds into one instead of just being one with rules that bind and not evolve.”

“Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2026 Format: Kindle I found this book to be a captivating read and quickly became invested in the characters. Although at first glance this appears to be an alien sci-fi romance, it also could be a statement on governance by fear. I had not read the prior books in the series but was able to catch up fairly quickly. I actually plan to read them now before the next one comes out. The way that Kaelar’s planet treats Lila is comparable to the way some residents have been treated over history. When someone is different it is easy to fear them. There are many powerful scenes in the book and Lila is truly a strong female role model. Their bond is a link to so much. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.”

“This is what is possible when fear is taken away. A deep knowing of another soul. Trust. Faith. The truth that taught an alien warrior what it is to love and be loved. Human doctor that was more curious than fearful. Her inate sense to help the injured, in any form. Love this story. It makes you reflect on your fears, and hesitations. It forces you to want to live an unhindered life.”

A Nightshade Academy Romance Series
Dear Reader,
Mae and Darius survived the impossible once. Now they'll discover that surviving was only the beginning. They must now leave the Academy to their homelands to deal with Family, Enemies and a Curse!!
In this book 2, the Blood Bond deepens, secrets buried for generations begin to unravel, and everything they thought they knew about heroes, villains, and history itself is challenged. The Fairy Realm is crumbling beneath an ancient Curse, old enemies are awakening, and the truth behind one of the Realm's greatest legends may change everything.
But at its heart, Crown & Shadow is still a story about love—the kind that refuses to break when the world demands it should.
You'll find forbidden romance, political intrigue, family betrayals, dangerous magic, hidden truths, and a second enemies-to-lovers romance that completely stole my heart while writing it.
Most of all, you'll discover that sometimes the greatest act of courage isn't fighting a monster.
It's rewriting the story everyone else believes.
I hope you'll join Mae, Darius, Aurora, and Caelith for the next chapter of their journey.
Love,
Star
