Yikes! The egg hatches, and the baby dragon bonds with Ruby and Nolan! The kids named him Donzereli after their strong, wonderful Uncle Dawnzereli whom they thought of as an aunt.
It's an understatement to say Ty and Robin were disappointed that their kids kept a “baby dragon” secret from them for weeks!
Meeting the baby dragon and his parents was a shock! Once the parents and the other settlers accepted that Dragons were living amongst them, they settled into an uneasy peace. After Donzereli became the highlight of the Festival of Lights, giving the kids a ride on his back, misgivings settled down a bit!
This book is called “Dragon Flight” for a reason! Donzereli and his friends offered to fly Ruby, Nolan, Bonnie, and Shamus up to his home in the north mountains. They tell their parents they are going on a picnic. Dr. Rodney Allen bribes a ride with them, or he will tell their parents!
They wonder why the dragons had accommodations prepared for them. Wait until you see the Dragon Keep! The dragons are technically advanced, as are the Others!
Wait a minute! This planet was supposed to be uninhabited? Wasn’t it?
