Fraker's Way

About The Book

There was only one way to get justice, Fraker’s Way
On the 1st of January 2035, the collective governments of the world chose, through pressure of public demand, to abolish the law making ‘soft’ drugs illegal. The first sign of this happening started in late 2003 with cannabis being marked down to a class ‘c’ drug in the United Kingdom. It took another twenty-two years for the drug to be declassified all together. For many, including those who wished to use the plant for true medical reasons, like cannabis oil, it was seen as a true break through in the way our respective governments thought, felt and acted about their people. For others, of course, it was the worse sign of moral decay ‘they’ had ever witnessed, the start of the end, a journey down a rabbit hole no one could survive.

Willard Fraker lived this world, breathed it. Ex military and a trained member of The Honos Initiative, a global law enforcement agency that has cart blanche to dispense justice in any way it see fit. Judge, jury and executioner all rolled into one, and Willard is one of the best. No court, no trial, no costly prison sentence, just swift justice, but Fraker is about to be thrown into an interstellar mystery that will test not only his loyalty to a service he has devoted his life to, but to friendships he thought were unbreakable.

Unfortunately, as sometimes happens, plans that look great on paper, don’t always work out in reality, and be it by design or accident, this is how the history books chose to record the turn of events that would alter our world, and how we lived in it, forever. True, the petty crime rate fell, almost completely off the chart, why mug a little old lady for five dollars, to give to a dealer for your fix and risk prison, when you could just go to your supermarket and order your spliff over the counter? Soon, you could get a joint on prescription for Christ’s sake, great news for sufferers of multiple sclerosis and college students alike, but that’s not to say crime became a thing of the past, far from it, it simply evolved. Willard Fraker’s world is a dark, dystopian world filled with crime and violence on an unprecedented level, a cop thrown into a war against drugs, corruption, terrorism and life long friendships that could possibly tear him and the world apart. It is now 2045 and fighting crime has never beed deadlier.

A dark, rich and complex story about love, loyalty,
friendship and the one thing no one could escape, murder.
