Although many of the Body of Christ have been introduced to the 9 Gifts of the Holy Spirit, only a small amount are fully functioning in their giftings.
This course is designed to teach, equip and activate students to operate effectively in the supernatural and practical application of their spiritual gifts.
There is no other subject as pertinent to the world scene today as the operation of the spiritual gifts in the body of Christ. They are essential to the church's functioning for today and we must not underestimate their importance.
Without them, the church lacks the spiritual equipment necessary for an aggressive conflict with the powers of darkness. The gifts are the weapons of our warfare and can destroy any force the devil might use against the Body of Christ.
Without the Gifts, we, the Body of Christ are deprived of the edifying enrichment from the manifestation of the Holy Spirit’s presence and power.
I believe God wants to accomplish His work supernaturally on the face of the earth. He desires to take natural people and work supernaturally through them to bring about a mighty surge of His power for HIS glory! I challenge you to make yourself ready for Him to use you in this wonderful moment in which we live today.
One of my heart's desire is to teach, train and equip the Body of Christ to fulfil their purpose and to do the work of the ministry!
Jim was Born-again in July of 1975 and filled with the Holy Spirit in May of 1978. In 1982-84, he completed the 2-year course at Rhema Bible Training Center in Oklahoma and has pastored in Minnesota, South Dakota and Colorado for 16 years. In 1996, Jim moved to Denver, CO to co-found an accredited, affiliate campus of Vision Christian Bible College. Jim has a BA in Biblical Studies and a Masters in Theology. At the college, he was Dean of Students/Professor for 3 years where he loved to teach/equip the students in the Word of God and His ministry gifts. In 1997, Jim founded New Life Ministries from which he began his itinerate ministry across the US, including over 30 international trips to France, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Vietnam, China, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Costa Rica, England, Kenya and Peru. Every time, he has seen God confirm His Word with “signs and wonders following” (Mk 16:20). Jesus is the whole reason any of us are alive but especially in Jim’s case, Jesus is the “sole” reason why he is still alive today. When Jim was 15 years old, he contracted spinal meningitis and after 5 days in a “coma”, the doctors gave him a 50/50 chance to live through the night. Even if he did survive, he would be like a “vegetable” from the high 106 degree fever and the effect of the disease. Without knowing Jesus personally as his Savior, his spirit left his body and descended into the darkness of Hell. It was the most terrifying night of his life experiencing the horrors of hell. Later, Jesus literally came and touched Jim, revealed a part of Heaven and God’s plan for his life. It was the healing touch of the Master that saved him…His precious name is Jesus!! Since Jim accepted Jesus as his personal Savior, he has been blessed to have personally seen the miraculous power of God displayed in his own life as well as those he has prayed for. Along with the miracle of the New Birth in previous outreaches and services, God has also given sight to the blind, deaf ears were opened, cancer, gall stones, cataracts, and tumors have disappeared! Having personally experienced God’s healing touch, Jim believes it is God’s perfect will for you to be healed, delivered and set free from all the bondages and attacks of the enemy according to His Word in Luke 4:18 and Acts 10:38. God is releasing His glory upon the earth today with an increasing measure of signs, wonders and miracles like never before!! Let’s believe for God’s miraculous Glory to come to your area!
