Part 2
by Lola Rhodes
Is she a boy? Is she a girl? Of course, that’s just one of the thousands of questions I'm sure we’d all like to know. I hate to think what you’re going to make of this?
What did happen to little John Reuben? It’s a name rarely spoken of anymore.
No one asked what gender Madelene assumed; it was always assumed, even by her peers. And, of course, what I’d personally like to know is how she made it through such a unique transition without assistance.
Still, I do know one thing: there’s only one way to find out!
Can you consider the thoughts that might go through someone’s mind or what it must be like if one day they woke to suddenly learn they were no longer the gender they’d always been brought up to be? Your whole life turns out to be one huge, irreversible lie!
Would you personally take it in your stride, become suicidal, or panic beyond all recognition? Who knows? How long would it take to recognise that your former self had all but disappeared?
A boy without a penis! A girl without a vagina! What could you expect next? Is this really the way the Gods wanted to play it out?
Lavender Hill - A different view from a silent world.
There isn't any excuse for inventive political correctness, except to say, Lavender Hill is a beacon, thriving on the exploration of uncharted territories of controversial or taboo subject matter. Their portfolio is a treasure trove of unconventional themes and bold narratives that dare to challenge the status quo. They invite readers to embark on a journey of self-examination and critical thinking, all within the framework of the most captivating storylines.
This book offers an exciting introduction to our two-part theatre. A chronicle that involves the implementation of justice in a manner not generally recognised in any typical society. Three French girls, an Italian artist, and an old London rogue hatch much more than a cunning plan!
In part two, we find the team operating now with a well-practised operation. Nonetheless, with all the unlikely chances of ever being detained by the authorities, their plans suddenly go drastically awry. It was time for them to follow their individual escape plans; it was time to conclude recent events, secure their ill-gotten gains and run! But not before they’d implemented the final touches that would secure the destruction of their two most depraved targets.
Imagine, for a second, if, instead of making choices for oneself, every critical step and direction of our young, impressionable lives had been determined by a series of uncontrollable, irreversible events. Of course, by the time these facts had come to light, it was far too late to turn the clock back.
Becoming a girl without ever being aware that one had ever been anything other than what she thought she’d grown to be was only the first step of this incredible adventure!
Now, it was time to live it!
We rejoin our story once more in the spring of 1984.
Madelene was happy then, knowing that all the secrets regarding her exact identity had been well and truly buried. The only unresolved area of concern regarding the simulated murder of John Reuben was the lawyer who administrated her present position. How? Well, you may well ask! It’s a long story, so unless you’ve read my previous two books regarding what happened to Madelene before this day, I’m afraid it’s just something you’ll have to take my word for.

I remember those days when life was full of ambition and there were more hormones per square inch running around our bodies than molecules of common sense. And you’re right, though; some of the wildest and most unexpected experiences happened during those times.
Is it naughty? Yes, of course it is; it wouldn't be called 'Sinners' if it wasn't, would it? But imagine you were like me, born without the ability to hear! Your world consists of nothing more than the instructions your imagination had to offer, accompanied only by the daily observations and assumptions one makes to define a solution.
Meeka Van Leeuwen was born into peculiar circumstances, with uncaring parents and a remarkable ability to achieve despite life’s misfortunes; these challenging events shaped Meeka into the woman she is today. However, her ongoing journey was not always an easy one.
If the recent Government’s Spring Statement is leading you to seek employment or you’re simply returning to the interview process, this book will undoubtedly be something to place on your reading list.
