Chronic Pain Fitness Planner


Welcome to my beautifully crafted, Chronic Pain Fitness Planner! I'm Meredith Hutton, aka meredithhutton79, and I'm excited to share my new fitness planner geared towards those with chronic pain, with my fellow Pain Warriors & Spoonies around the world, in hopes that I make a positive difference in your lives.

I've lived with chronic pain since 2008, and the journey it's taken me on has nearly destroyed me. Diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) after a fall in 2008, and severe whiplash injuries in my back and neck after I was rear ended by a bus in 2009, changed the trajectory of mine and my family's lives. Pain has taken us to places we never thought we'd be.

It’s taken me years to get where I am today, and I’m ready to share that with all of you with my Chronic Pain Fitness Planner. With all the health journals I’ve used to track my exercise routine, none quite fit the bill. They had some of it right, but also were missing other important aspects I felt needed to be included in a useful and comprehensive fitness planner.

The finished product is tailored to those of us who are Pain Warriors and Spoonies! It includes colourful areas for tracking things like steps, cardio, walking or cycling, workouts, or any other form of exercise, meal planning, sleep and daily healthy habits as well as lots of room for notes. It has a page dedicated to setting out your fitness goals at the beginning of each month, a monthly calendar planner and monthly fitness and exercise trackers, and a weekly planner with the weekly fitness and exercise trackers. Lots of little, but important, details are included with lots of area for notes. I’ve also included a monthly habit tracker and undated monthly and weekly calendars so that there is additional space for your fitness and physical health related stats, which are important areas to focus on when you have chronic pain. Each week includes a meal planner and more detailed fitness tracking page. This planner will track 3 months.

As the weeks progress, you will start to notice patterns developing in your pain and wellness, which are important because once we find these patterns, we can start to manage them, and you become more in control of your pain.

Overall, my chronic pain has allowed me to reach new creative limits on a full time basis as an artist and craftsperson, and now I can add writer/author and blogger to that list. This year I felt driven to merge my creative passions with my chronic pain to bring products and online content that are relevant, nurturing and supportive, for those suffering chronic pain, and their families and friends, in this busy and overwhelming world we live in.
