S.B.R. Ambrose-Leigh is a decorated veteran of the United Kingdom’s Royal Air Force. Having dedicated nearly half of his life to military duty (with his twenty-four years of distinguished service), he now brings the wealth of his experience and unique perspective to his burgeoning pursuits in English literature.
For his debut work, he has crafted The Pleiades Prophecy, a captivating science-fiction tale, and the first installment of a planned trilogy from The Sorah Jones Chronicles®. This series is currently being developed for the end of this year.
The author thoroughly enjoys making and spending time with his five adult children, watching multi-genre movies, and reading books and listening to his large collection of audio-books. As a novelist, he finds joy and inspiration in exploring the narratives that other wordsmiths have shared and delights in unravelling their often complex plot lines and developments.
He hopes that readers can immerse themselves in his tales, getting lost in the words he has crafted. He wishes that the many varied and evolving personalities of his beloved main and supporting characters can evoke feelings of excitement, joy, sadness, fear, wonder, love, anger, curiosity, relief, empathy, nostalgia, inspiration, surprise, contentment, and other descriptive emotions we all aspire to have.
Having always been interested in creative writing, he has finally taken the plunge with this offering of a labour of love. Developed over a year, it is self-published and reflects his passion to share his work and shows a commitment to producing engaging and thought-provoking futurism. He has enjoyed world-building and ensuring character growth, and now invites readers to embark on a literary journey filled with distinctive and vivid imagery, compelling technical ideas, and theoretical science, all with the potential to come to fruition in Earth’s probable dystopian future.
He truly hopes to inspire people to travel to The First Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum, an incredibly inspiring place to visit. His life-long dream is to see the actual collection of Terracotta Soldiers in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province, China, with his family. This interest has deeply influenced his imagination and has inspired the ideas for his planned trilogy, and he hopes to inspire people to visit this uniquely magnificent, culturally significant, and historic UNESCO® World Heritage Site.
