LMHCA, Wife, and mama to some fur babies
Hello, I'm Alexandria Courtney, the author behind all this, and while I work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) during the day, I spend my off time writing. This has always been a core part of who I am. While growing up, I was even published in high school through a local college with a poem I wrote. So, as I work to incorporate something I love so much into my daily life. I only hope my audience finds joy in utilizing the journals & Books that will soon be available. I also want to thank my amazing husband, who supports all of my thoughts and ideas!

understanding big emotions and feelings
A fun coloring book for kids to also help regulate the emotions we are often told NOT to feel.
"Don't get mad, don't be afraid, and don't be sad." Learning to regulate these BIG emotions will help children transition to communicating these feelings.
For Teens
Written directly to teens — not at them — this guided workbook breaks down three of the hardest emotions to deal with: anger, sadness, and fear. No lectures, no clinical jargon, no "just calm down." Instead, real explanations of what's actually happening in the body and brain, plus practical tools that work in the moment, not just in theory.
Each section follows the same clear path: understand the emotion, notice where it shows up in the body, name what's really going on underneath it, and build a toolkit of strategies that actually help. Along the way, guided reflection prompts, trigger checklists, and daily trackers turn insight into a habit — not just a one-time read.
A journal is coming soon… with guided prompts to aid the work done alongside this book.
