25 Iconic Works Reimagined in Medieval Manuscript Style
by Richard Harris
Books have always carried power. Some have been celebrated, others silenced. Throughout history, works of literature have been banned, burned, or challenged — yet their words continue to endure.
This collection reimagines 25 banned or challenged books through the artistry of illuminated manuscripts. Each cover is designed in the spirit of medieval codices, adorned with gold filigree, symbolic emblems, and gothic calligraphy.
By giving these contested works the appearance of sacred texts, this project highlights the reverence they deserve — and the resilience of stories too powerful to erase.

I have enjoyed many professions in my life: minister, theologian, electrician, contractor, psychotherapist, and more. It has been on the journey through life that I discovered the one enduring value which is most important - it is that of tending to your own soul. In that vein, I offer my published works as tools to aid in that endeavor.
