My name is Daryl Te’Nadii, Author of the renowned autobiography, The Orphaned Soldier
now selling on the international scene and 12 further stories set within a Four - series book collection publications called Travel Stories.
These have been designed and written for the traveller to read while en route and looking for an easy-to-read story.
Now living on the Sunshine Coast for over 21-years I have journeyed an amazing period of time learning, making friends and running my business before stepping back into a more sedentary lifestyle to enjoy more time with my family. I have served my country with pride in the Army, represented my country in sport and lived a dream I hope my children will also travel.
Today I share my free time tinkering around the house, along with family and the odd weekend on the Golf Course with great lifetime friends. When time allows, I will also share these with friends from around the Sunshine Coast and beyond
I am an adamant All-Black, Melbourne Storm and Geelong Cats supporter. I am a lover of all sports codes. Nothing fills my time more than with my wife and daughter,s and in memory every day of my son.
I have a mind that thinks and stays alert beyond the hours in a day, which at times I wish I could turn off; however, it’s thanks to this trait that I am a person who can think and do many things at one time with confidence.
Besides my memoirs, which capture my life and the years with my family and friends, I have a canny ability to dream a story, wake up and start typing. By the end of the day, I find I have written the complete story dreamed, onto paper in draft form. From her,e I will spend countless hours re-drafting and editing that dream so that it becomes a story for a book publication.
Not sure if this is a good thing, but what I have learned over time is that this strange ability keeps my brain active and my passion to write strong. If I had just one wish apart from personal, it would be to learn how to play a Piano. Second to this would be to travel to Spain, Greece and my homeland, New Zealand, once more.
I would like to say thank you to you for supporting my dream to write by purchasing my books. Enjoy the journey and please, feel free to contact me if you have any questions at…

And always remember, life is what we make of it.
After all, isn’t that what we all look for?
Love – Friendships – Journeys – memories
Hello, my name is Daryl Te’Nadii or more commonly known as DAZ. I am the proud author of “The Orphaned Soldier” my personal autobiography. Today I spend many hours writing short stories.
As a new author to the world, I am proud to introduce my writings. “The Orphaned Soldier”, a true story of a child abandoned at birth and placed into the care of the church. His life under the banner of the church would face many hardships, years of sexual abuse and the unknown depths of pain no child should ever have to face. In his words, he writes, “tears run down my face as I knelt beside my bed, clasping my 6-year-old hands together, trembling in fear they wouldn’t come to get me”. The assaults would lead him to attempt suicide at the age of nine and again at the age of 14. Being reunited with his biological mother only led to more abuse and pain as he soon became a victim of abandonment for a second time at the age of 14-years. Living on the streets, he would survive through the will to live. Sleeping on the streets, eating from garbage bins, finding any clothing he could to stay warm, he would survive months of hurt and pain that would destroy the very souls of most people. His passion for life would see him join the armed forces, where he became a role model, teacher to many. His days over this time would see his character flow throughout the lands as he gifted his strengths and skills to many. Today, he shares his life as a man who has the right to live. Joined to his life are his wife and children, where love, trust, and loyalty bound the pride of his name. His Motto in life… I AM DAZ AND THIS IS WHAT I DO” This was my life, I am "The Orphaned Soldier". From this, I have written 12 more short stories, presented as a series of three. Each series contains four stories for the reader. They have been named “Tavel Stories”. Allowing the reader to venture into various stories to fill the time during travel, be it by train, plane, boat, or car. There is a mix of romance, dramatic moments, suspense and thrilling stories to catch the reader’s attention. You will also find within my library my personal life’s journey as a Sports Coach and Exercise Master. My Encyclopedia on Health and Fitness, series one, two and three will open the pathway for you so much more than just exercise. My writing will teach and lead you into an amazing world of Health and Fitness. Containing over 10 years of set platform exercise programs, you will be captured by the depth and scope within.
