“I liked that the pace of the characters and their relationships wasn’t too fast plus the setting of the story is great! Loved Petra; could really imagine her. The you-beaut ship. All those upgrades they got later in the book- how lucky. Like upgrading your 4WD I thought! Tocmal the Grasshopper man is a great mix of alien and mystery. I could see that there is conflict building. There’s a dark plot going on in the background– that kept me interested. Mondrac was an interesting character- wasn’t quite sure of him at first. Whose side was he on I wondered? That’s why I’m so keen for the second book. It’s easy reading, not too drawn out. Some novels use words that you have to stop and flick though a dictionary to figure out. This wasn’t like that. I felt like this could easy be the story of what Earth might be like in two hundred years. After the first book, I thought this would make a good show on Netflix. I wasn’t sure what to expect; only hope was that I might like it. I loved it! Now I can’t wait for book 2! ”
