Jane has been a writer for over 30 years. She has written several screenplays including the feature film script, Sacajawea, The Windcatcher and five episodes of her children's anime series Moon Drake. She has also written four books including The Path, a promotional book for the Sacajawea project; her inspirational book, Awakening, which was a BookFest Award-Winner in 2023; a children’s book entitled The Grass Maiden, Sacajawea; and a preteen mystery adventure book, Crabtree: Lost Kids of Borealonon, an International IMPACT Book Awards Winner in 2024, which she is adapting for film.
