Quotations, “Fulfillment,” and Messianism Tested Against the Hebrew Text

THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW UNDER THE TORAH TEST

by Frans Hansen

Matthew says “fulfilled.” This book asks the question missionaries avoid: did the Hebrew text ever say what Matthew claims it said?

About The Book

The Gospel of Matthew Under the Torah Test is not another devotional reading of the first Gospel. It is a courtroom examination.

Matthew repeatedly claims that events in Jesus’ life happened “so that what was spoken by the prophet might be fulfilled.” This book takes those claims back to the Hebrew text, restores their original audience, crisis, covenant, and expected result, and asks whether Matthew’s interpretation can survive Torah’s own rules of verification.

Using the Seven Gates Torah Verification System, Frans Hansen tests Matthew chapter by chapter against public revelation, divine unity, the prohibition against reducing God to form, covenant permanence, Deuteronomy 13, Torah’s path of teshuvah and atonement, and the public messianic results required by the Prophets. The book distinguishes honest quotation from reapplication, typology from prediction, literary resemblance from prophecy, and internal Christian plausibility from actual Torah authorization.

The result is a direct challenge to the foundations of Christian proof-texting.

Does Isaiah 7 predict a virgin birth?
Does Hosea 11 speak about Jesus or Israel?
Did Micah 5 provide a birthplace proof while leaving the kingdom unfulfilled?
Can “fulfill” mean Torah reduction?
Does Psalm 110 call the Messiah God?
Can a Roman execution become a Torah sacrifice?
Did Matthew’s new-covenant claim preserve Israel, Judah, and Torah—or replace them?
Did Jesus complete the visible messianic work the Prophets described?

This book does not claim that every sentence in Matthew is false. It makes a sharper argument: the decisive Christian proofs—Davidic lineage, fulfillment formulas, atoning death, transferred covenant authority, divinity, and completed messianism—do not survive the Hebrew context and the Torah’s legal controls.

For questioning Christians, Jews facing missionary claims, Noahides, ex-Christians, and serious readers of the Hebrew Bible, this is a detailed forensic guide to the Gospel most often marketed as “the Jewish Gospel.”

Do not ask whether Matthew can sound convincing inside Christianity. Ask whether Matthew can prove its case before Moses, the Prophets, and the Hebrew text.
