About The Book

Chuck, Cathy, and their friends, Bill and Anna Cooper, have learned how to catch meteoroids and extinct comets for science and for profit. Chuck and Cathy’s company, C&C Space Exploration, has sold spaceships to the government and built a Moon Base for the government. When Iran attacked the space station and the Moon base, the US destroyed the attacking Iranian spaceships. Then the US and Israel attacked Iran, severely damaging its space and nuclear capabilities. In the meantime, a European company was working to become a major factor in space and stole Chuck’s technology.

Now, Chuck is thinking about building a bigger spaceship and exploring the planets of the Solar System. However, the European company and the Chinese were set on owning the Moon.

Dr. Dean S. Hartley III writes science fiction and Christian inspirational books.

Dean S. Hartley III has been the Principal of Hartley Consulting since 2001. He worked one summer at the Psychometrics Lab in Chapel Hill, NC. In college, he worked as a chemistry lab technician at Milliken Research. He spent one Christmas vacation as a salesman in a (smoking) pipe store. During four years of active duty in the Army he ran war simulations for the Joint Staff. He worked in operations research and production planning for the Milliken textile company for 10 years. He worked at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and other DOE facilities for 15 years. He received an A.B. degree from Wofford College in math and foreign languages and his PhD in piecewise linear topology from the University of Georgia. He is the author of Predicting Combat Effects, Unconventional Conflict: A Modeling Perspective, An Ontology for Unconventional Conflict, An Ontology of Modern Conflict: Including Conventional Combat and Unconventional Conflict, and co-author of Cognitive Superiority: Information to Power, the last four published by Springer. He and his wife Eileen live in Oak Ridge, TN, and have two children, Theresa Nelson and Elise Henderson, and three grandchildren
